Hey friends!  If you are reading this, thank you!  I’m still getting this blog off the ground, so I really appreciate you checking it out.

A new year is upon us, and although I try not to fall into the typical new year cliches (resolutions, anyone?), I still feel like it is a good time to look ahead to the upcoming year and maybe do some planning.  I have sort of a dual career path going on right now – my main gig is as a touring guitar/bass tech and my other path is photography.  I look at the touring gig as my “day job” – I need to do it to pay the bills.  That’s not to say I don’t enjoy it – it really is a cool job that allows me to travel all over the world (and take photos in these cool places!)  Photography has become my passion over the last several years though, and one of my 2015 goals is to grow my business and gradually swap those two paths and perhaps integrate them together more.  I’d love to be able to tour as a photographer (something that my friend Rob Fenn has had great success doing).

I’ll continue to use this blog to post photo examples, tips and advice, road reports, and at some point, products.  Maybe limited prints, Lightroom presets (for any photographers out there), or even an ebook.  I welcome any suggestions and questions from my readers – feel free to leave a comment or contact me through the contact page.

Thanks again for stopping by and please check back often!

See you all on the road!
